 The Oil Patch Preparation
System is an 9-day training and job placement program, funded by the federal Workforce Investment Act, that can help those with no
experience get their foot in the door or help the most seasoned hand find a better path for career advancement. Funding is also available
through the PEC O.P.P.S. department, call for details.
The certifications offered through the program are OSHA and MMS mandated and operator required.

JOB SEEKERS:
PEC/Premier Safety Management is approved to receive funding in the States of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and
Texas to provide training to individuals in order to supply quality employees to the oil and gas industry.
Once approved for training, you will spend 9 days in Morgan City, Louisiana. Training takes
place at Young Memorial Technical College Campus. You will receive the latest in regulatory compliance and
hands-on skills training. While aboard, you will enjoy meals and full catering services.
* Texas OPPS takes place at Texas State Technical College-Harlingen Campus.

JOB PLACEMENT:
Each graduate of OPPS will receive a graduation packet including certifications in 26 oil and gas industry mandated

with companies that are actively hiring.
