Everyday Leadership addresses competencies that are considered necessary in today’s business world. Students identify modes of behavior and communication in themselves and how to apply that knowledge in a diverse work force. The course is delivered in one day or two day instructor led formats and can be customized to fit company requirements.

Course Objectives

Completion of the two-day course will allow students to:
• Personally reflect on 10 leadership competencies
• Create a personal mission statement
• Describe their dominant mode of behavior
• Describe the importance of remaining flexible
• Describe the importance of interpersonal relationships and trust
• Communicate more effectively in difficult conversations
• Describe the role of coaching and some do’s and don’ts
• Describe the mission of their company
• Describe the process of transition through changes
• Identify their customers
• Describe the customer/supplier relationship
• Become aware of other departments within their organization
• Provide a process for effectively leading projects

Target Audience

The two-day course is directed toward supervisors and managers or those individuals in preparation for such. It can also be used with complete teams of Managers, supervisors and team workers utilizing a 360° process that is effective in team building.
