PEC/Premier Safety Management offers Instructor training
courses to those who meet the prerequisites set by PEC’s
Administration and Medic 1st Aid. The Instructor courses
available are as follows:
PEC Basic-SafeGulf
Orientation Train the Trainer
Description: 1 day (8 hours) or 2
days (16 hours) if Instructor has not yet completed
the course as a student.
The PEC Basic-SafeGulf Orientation Train
the Trainer allows an instructor to administer the
PEC Basic Orientation which is a SafeGulf accredited
program. The course was designed to take the place
of multiple Operator orientations and to give each
student a general idea of life and safety issues in
the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore
or offshore.
Materials included:
Instructor Guide, CD including Instructor Guide and Student Manual in MS
Word, forms, Powerpoint Presentation, All-in-One Video, backdrop for
student pictures
Minimum Requirements:
1. A minimum of 6 months experience
in the Health and Safety field either as a trainer
or a member of the health and safety staff for
your company.
2. At least 50% of your time as an employee for your company must have
been spent providing services related to the health and safety program(s)
for your company.
3. You must have successfully completed the Basic Orientation program as
a student or have successfully been tested to ensure that you fully understand
the information provided in the program.
4. Must have a digital camera for student pictures. Photos must be cropped
to 300 x 300 pixels.

PEC Core Compliance Train the
Trainer
Description: 1 day (8 hours) or 4 days
(32 hours) if Instructor has not yet completed the
course as a student.
Course includes PEC Basic-SafeGulf
Orientation. After completing the Train the Trainer,
an Instructor will also have the ability to teach the
PEC Basic-SafeGulf Orientation as a stand-alone program.
The PEC Core Compliance program brings
together the health, safety and environmental training
certifications (OSHA and MMS) most requested by oilfield
operators and other host employers. PEC Core Compliance
is accepted by every major and most mid major operators
in the USA, Canada and Qatar. This in depth training
program will ensure your employees are compliant with
your customers’, OSHA and MMS safety training
requirements. Material presentation is structured to
build on common content in a high intensity three day
format. The instructor led interactive training will
certify you in training levels beyond just awareness.

PEC Core Compliance Instructor
Application

Medic 1st Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens
Train the Trainer
Description: 1 day or 2 days if Instructor
has not yet completed the course as a Student.
MEDIC FIRST AID Training Programs cover
first aid, CPR, AED, bloodborne pathogens, emergency
oxygen, and OSHA safety compliance. Courses teach emergency
medical response skills to businesses, industries,
schools, government agencies, and lay responders to
emergency crises.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must complete the 1 day course as
a student prior to Instructor class

Hazwoper 40 Hour Technician Train
the Trainer
Description: 1 day
The Hazmat
Technician course will offer hands-on simulated facility
and transportation incidents. The hazardous materials
technician course shall describe the response objectives
for each incident and the steps for determining response
objectives (defensive, offensive, non-intervention)
given an analysis of a hazardous materials incident.
Then, the hazardous materials technician shall identify
the possible action options (defensive, offensive,
and nonintervention) by response objective for each
incident, including safety considerations. The hazardous
materials technician course will cover all topics that
are included in the HAZWOPER Operations level course.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be a PEC Core Compliance Instructor
in good standing.
2. Must have completed 1st Aid/CPR course within the last 12 months.
