    CAP Report Card See your generic SSQ score
This is not your Operator score, but is rather a guideline for you to evaluate your company’s safety programs.  Each Operator builds their own individual scoring system for use with their Contractors.  We cannot show you their score but our CAP Report Card is the next best thing.  Your CAP Report Card grade is an average score for your own internal use.  It is designed to provide a 'typical' SSQ score for your company which will enable you to determine how most Operators evaluate your safety program.  This invaluable data can reveal your company's strengths and weaknesses in your overall safety program. 

    Industry Comparison Report: TRIR Compare your TRIR to your peers
Many Operators pay particular attention to a Contractor's Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR).   This CAP benefit allows you to compare your company's TRIR as recorded in your SSQ against the actual TRIR data from other companies.  The Industry Comparison Report shows this comparison for all services you have listed in your SSQ.  This is done anonymously.  You can now compare your company with your competition!

    Summary Report Review a snapshot report of your SSQ
Look at the same snapshot report of your company's SSQ data that the Operators can view.  Instead of looking at the entire SSQ report made up of 25+ pages of data, you only need to glance at two.  Our Summary Report condenses your data down to the most important aspects of your safety program.  This is the data with which the Operators are most concerned.  This saves you a tremendous amount of time and money.

    Safety Meeting Assistance Monthly safety meetings emailed to you
As you know, some Operators require their Contractors to conduct periodic 'tailgate' safety meetings.  We will save your company time, money, and energy by assisting your company with their safety meetings.  As a CAP subscriber, we automatically email you monthly PDF documents that you can use as tools in conducting periodic safety meeting with your employees.  Therefore, you do not have to develop these materials on your own.  We provide presentations, test questions, sign-in sheets, etc., so all you have to do is conduct the meeting and file it.  If you are audited, you can be confident that this Operator requirement has been fulfilled.  Estimated value $345.00.

As a Contractor Assistance Program subscriber, we can help you advertise your company in two important ways:
  • Display your company logo, website link, and a company description on your SSQ home page where Operators can see it.  This will make your company stand out against the competition.

  • Display your company's name, address, logo, contact information, a brief company description, and website link on PEC's Current CAP Listing website page, which lists all CAP subscribers.  This page is a place where Operators can search for Contractors.  This is one of the industry’s most accurate and accessible directories.  Just one call or lead resulting in added business could pay for many years of your CAP subscription.


    Participation on CDT Be part of the Contractor Development Team
The Contractor Development Team (CDT) was created to provide you, as a contractor, with an equal opportunity to have input on decisions that may have direct impact on your business.  As a subscriber to CAP, your company is automatically a member of the CDT.  This benefit gives your company a venue to voice your suggestions and concerns to the operators.  Over the past years this has led to meaningful changes that have been very positive for the entire industry.

    Confirmation of Employee Training Verify potential hire's PEC training
You can confirm that a potential employee has completed SafeGulf, SafeLandUSA, PEC Basic-SafeGulf/SafeLand Orientation, or PEC Core Compliance training.  CAP subscribers receive lookup rights in our new Training Tracker database.  You will have the ability to lookup, view, and print the PEC training history of potential employees as well as existing or former employees.  This benefit can save your company on duplicate training costs.  If a new hire says they have been through SafeGulf or PEC Core Compliance but have no documentation, you can now verify whether they really need to be trained or not.  Again, this tool can save your company valuable time and money.

    Document Uploads and Archive Upload the documents your customers require
Gain the ability to upload crucial safety documents to our system for future reference. With your document uploads being fully integrated within our Standardized Safety Questionnaire (SSQ), PEC will walk you through the process of uploading the documentation your company needs to provide to the Operator. PEC will also archive these documents so that you don't have to.

    Train-the-Trainer Train your employees in-house
Only employees of CAP subscribers are eligible to be certified as in-house PEC instructors.
